Worldlight Foundation International is a Social Change and Development Non-Governmental Organization.

What is Social Change?

Social change builds community-based responses that address underlying social problems on an individual, institutional, community, national and/or international level. Social change can change attitudes, behaviors, laws, policies and institutions to better reflect values. Social change involves a collective action of individuals who are closest to the social problems to develop solutions that address social issues.

Many Nigerian citizens lack general cleanliness and personal individual hygiene, as a result of this fundamental issue; Nigerian citizens have the habit of littering the environment and the society at large indiscriminately. So the interest of WFI is to sensitize everyone on the need to keep a healthy environment and teach proper waste disposal starting from the grassroots. Nigeria can become the kind of neat country we desire when everyone does what is right (proper waste disposal case in point).

The rate of divorce and marital crises is on the high in Nigeria which take toll on the family system and such affect the normal upbringing of children who in turn exhibit wrong vices in the society.

Again, Nigeria has a high rate of psychotics roaming the streets of the country due to some reasons, excessive intake and abuse of drugs, frustration and depression, Alzheimer’s disease and spiritual/diabolical attack. The aforementioned reasons accumulate over time on the patients and because of the high cost of living in many parts Nigeria, unresponsive health sector, bad leadership and corruption; these affected citizens are left to roam the streets, live in shanties, by the roadsides without any care and concern for them.

Mission of Worldlight Foundation International

• The mission of WFI to see that individual live lives built on integrity, humility, love, care etc (Sound Character).

• Teaching and modeling what the ideal home system should be because the values an individual exudes in the society are a reflection of the home such individual is coming from.

• Assisting psychotics by way of treatment, rehabilitation and reintroduction to their families and society. The rehabilitated patients would be trained on different vocations and education through remedial adult literacy scheme.

• Teaching Nigerians and the future generation of Nigeria proper waste disposal starting from the grass root and elementary schools by sensitization via commercials on television, radio, billboards, other media and also donating waste baskets to the schools and mounting of waste disposal bin on strategic area.

The Vision of Worldlight Foundation International

To add value to human life by way of making citizens of Nigeria and Africa become better individuals with sound character and to rid the streets of Nigeria and Africa by extension of dirt and Psychotics.
